The Airbus ACJ is an executive version of the A319 airliner, itself part of the very successful Airbus A320 Family, which has sold 6,000 aircraft.
The ACJ was the first member of the ACJ Family, dedicated to executive and government transport, and has since been joined by the shorter cabin Elite and larger A320 Prestige.
Total sales for the Elite, ACJ and Prestige have now reached 120. 25 ACJ Family aircraft were sold in 2007 to date, in addition to 20 in 2006.
The ACJ offers up to 6 auxiliary fuel tanks with which it has up to 6,000nm range. However, a normal charter application would see 3 tanks fitted, which offers a range of 4,800nm. The ACJ cabin seats 32 passengers in a mix-used configuration. The price with an equipped cabin can be up to $65m.
